Montlake Associates is an owner's representative and real estate development advisory firm based in Helena, Montana, serving clients across Montana, the Pacific Northwest, and the Mountain West.

Montlake traces its roots to Peter E. Baker Management, founded in Seattle in 2012 after Peter's 20-year career in construction and real estate. Anthony Jansen joined as Project Manager in 2013, and the firm became Montlake Associates in 2015 when Frank Stauff joined as partner. Peter relocated the practice to Helena in 2020 and continues to lead the firm. Anthony is now a Principal at Cascade Ridge Partners, a family-office real estate development firm in Seattle, and Frank is President of Compass Construction, a leading Pacific Northwest general contractor. Peter maintains close professional relationships with both.

Today, Montlake serves clients across four primary practice areas: digital infrastructure development, commercial and industrial development, institutional and publicly funded projects, and strategic advisory.
